At Enkrateia House of Hope, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive support to pregnant women facing homelessness or crisis situations. Our confidential services are designed to empower and uplift expectant mothers, fostering independence and hope for the future.
Our Services Include:
Safe and Nurturing Housing
We offer a compassionate, faith-centered Shepherd Home for pregnant mothers aged 18 and older to reside during their pregnancy and after childbirth. Our facility can accommodate up to three women free of charge for up to 18 months, covering pregnancy, delivery, and early motherhood.
Support for Younger Mothers
For expectant mothers aged 17 and younger, we collaborate with local organizations to provide appropriate assistance tailored to their unique needs.
Educational Advancement
Recognizing that a high school diploma significantly reduces the likelihood of living in poverty, we assist residents in overcoming educational challenges, including completing high school and pursuing higher education opportunities.
Job Search and Training Assistance
We aid in job searches and provide training opportunities to enhance employability, empowering women to achieve financial independence.
Holistic Care
By partnering with local community resources, we address educational, medical, material, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs, ensuring comprehensive support for each mother.
Personalized Goal Achievement
We extend the duration of stay as needed to help residents achieve their personal goals, providing continuous support throughout their journey with Enkrateia.
